ACCORDING 2 GENESIS: OUR MISSION / VISION
The mission of ACCORDING 2 GENESIS is to equip Christians to be effective teachers and speakers on the subject of biblical creation so that the next generation can be trained to stand firm on biblical truth and defend their faith. In order to achieve this mission we need a teacher in every Christian school and church who can teach biblical creation and apologetics.
The World Is Out-Educating the Church
– A recent Gallup Poll showed that 59 percent of Americans now view gay or lesbian relations as “morally acceptable.”
– Less than 10% of Christian students have a biblical worldview.
– Atheist camps for youth
Filling the VOID – Building an “Army” of Christian Educators
The mission of all Christians is to Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost (Matthew 28:19).
The word “teach” also means make disciples. As we grow and equip the next generation of believers, we must remember that they will become the youth leaders, pastors, Sunday school teachers, home-school educators, Christian school teachers, and leaders in corporate America who will, in turn, equip and lead the next generation. The resulting benefits will far outweigh the time, energy, and resources invested.
We need to help our youth become the influencers and not the casualties in their classrooms. When they walk into a classroom, they should be the ones who have biblically sound answers and shape the conversation. We must prepare them to stand firm, defend their faith, and make an impact for the truth of Jesus Christ, Creator and Savior. It is within our power, as Christian leaders, parents, and concerned adults, to shape the next generation of Americans.
The actions we take now will determine whether or not America continues on her current path toward becoming a post-Christian nation or returns to her legacy as a nation under God.
Will you partner with us in your prayers and financial support, to begin and continue this vital and Christ honoring mission.
And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.
(2 Tim 2:2)
Paul trained Timothy, released him, and then said, “Do as I did for you.” Paul compelled others to train reliable men who would be able to train others.
Hearing the message is not the goal. Life change is the goal. (James 1:22)
